I want to dance fantastic fire trails through the heart of the Earth
ecstatic whirling leonine wonder
caged akashic rummager

I want to dance fantastic fire trails through the Earth of your heart
astride ecstasy’s fateful ember
curious astral voyager

We would all burn our home
until all the hydrogen in all the stars in all the verses
gave up all the ancient ghosts
until the world is only our ashes
scarred sacred terror
scorched-torn
tourniquet our beloved nature
before we
melt the glaciers
kill the polar bears
and finally
collapse into one another
a deceased gestalt singularity
branded irrevocably by the light, the fire
leaving eternal scars in the shape of bones on our hearts and our planet
and dancing only evermore
in those fantastic fire trails
in our collective human memory.
